The device (18) has a linkage pivoted on a bottom of an exercise machine e.g. tread mill, to be swung by vibration. An elastic member e.g. spring, has opposite ends urging the machine and the linkage, respectively to be deformed elastically when the linkage is swung. An angle between the linkage and the ground is less than ninety degrees. A mount fixed to the machine has a shaft through a bore of the linkage and a nut screwed to a distal end of the shaft, where the member is fitted to the shaft. A wheel is pivoted on the distal end of the linkage to touch the ground.
