<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting apparatus which is formed of a simple combination of a light-emitting diode (LED) having a low color temperature and an LED having a high color temperature, and in which five white colors of a lamp color, a hot white color, a white color, a daylight white color, and a daylight color can be obtained by changing the brightness of at least one of them. <P>SOLUTION: The lighting apparatus has LEDs each having an LED element and a phosphor emitting the light of a different wavelength excited by its emission light, or the LED having only the LED element as a light-emitting source mounted on a circuit board in a plurality of pieces. The LED having a high color temperature and the LED having a lower color temperature than that are combined as a pair, and mounted on a circuit board, and a power supply circuit to change at least the optical output of one of the LEDs is provided; and by changing the optical output, a plurality of white colors selected from a group of the daylight color, the daylight white color, the white color, the hot white color, and the lamp white color can be emitted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
