<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the convenience for using an image forming apparatus by preventing an engine and apparatus from stopping suddenly even if a luminescence element (life element) exists which has reached a limitation of correction. <P>SOLUTION: When the drive current value of at least one luminescence element (organic electroluminescence element 63) has reached a correction-limitation current value, the light amount of the luminescence element concerned is not corrected by a controller CPU 83 of a controller 41 composing a light amount correction part. The controller CPU 83 may define the luminescence element with the largest current value as a standard luminescence element and correct the light amount of other luminescence element on the basis of the light amount of the standard luminescence element concerned. When actuating all luminescence elements with the same drive current value, the controller CPU 83 may define the luminescence element with the smallest light amount as the standard luminescence element and correct the light amount of other luminescence element on the basis of the light amount of the standard luminescence element concerned. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
