PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for preheating a base material in a clad material manufacturing facility, wherein an increase in the entire length of the facility can be suppressed and cost reduction in facility is attained. SOLUTION: The clad material manufacturing facility in which a brazing filler metal layer is formed by press-fixing metallic powder on the surface of the base material 1 uncoiled from a base material coil 2, is provided with a preheating furnace 13 for the base material coil to surround and to preheat the base material coil 2 on which the base material 1 is taken up.
