PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve disorder of a tone which appears at a boundary part of head chips. SOLUTION: A holding part and a switching part are mounted in the printer of an inkjet system in which a plurality of the head chips are mounted in an offset arrangement in a printing direction. (a) The holding part holds by an amount of several lines information on a pattern table selected about dots at a boundary position appearing first of each processing line in the head chip which forms dots precedently in time. (b) The switching part applies a pattern table sequentially selected in units of one dots or of a plurality of dots for the dots excluding the boundary part, applies a pattern table selected about the dots of the boundary position appearing first of the present processing unit for all of the dots of the boundary part formed precedently in time, and applies a pattern table selected only several lines before for the dots of the boundary part formed late in time.
