PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a modified cross section fiber capable of satisfying both good temperature-keeping effect, post treatment-maintaining effect, and sweat-absorbing and evaporating effect though having a relatively simple structure, and a spinneret for producing the modified cross-section fiber. SOLUTION: This modified cross section fiber 2 is formed to have a form of arranging two C-type pattern parts 201, 202 as overlapping. Thereby, around a hollow body part 212, two pairs of projections 201a, 201b (202a, 202b) are extended from a circular side surface, and by forming them continuously along the longitudinal direction of the modified cross section fiber 2, a belt-shaped slits 221 and 222 are arranged.
