CASEIN NANOPARTICLE

摘要

The object is to provide a nanoparticle which can be prepared without using any surfactant or synthetic polymer, has a controlled size, is acidic and safe, and encloses an active substance therein, and also provide a process for production of the nanoparticle. Disclosed is a casein nanoparticle enclosing an active substance therein and having an average particle diameter of not smaller than 10 nm and smaller than 300 nm. The casein nanoparticle can be produced by a process comprising the following steps (a) to (c): (a) mixing casein with a basic aqueous medium having a pH value of not lower than 8 and lower than 11; (b) adding at least one active substance to the solution obtained in the step (a); and (c) injecting the solution obtained in the step (b) into an acidic aqueous medium having a pH value ranging from 3.5 to 7.5.
