A CALL RECOVERY METHOD DURING THE NETWORK FAILURE AND THE SYSTEM THEREOF

A call recovery method and a system during the network failure are disclosed. The method includes: after the called MSC fails, providing the roaming number request message to a normal MSC via the backup path; the normal MSC obtaining the location area information of the called user and pre-paging based on the location information of the called user; updating the user data after receiving the pre-page response returned by the user; and returning the roaming number via the path between the normal MSC so as to finish the subsequent call. The system includes: a switching unit, a first VLR, and a MSC. After the network fails, the called service of the users corresponding to the failure MSC are switched to a normal MSC, so that the problem in the prior art that it takes several hours for the users to receive calls again after the original MSC fails.
