摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical information recording medium which prevents deformation of a substrate and keeps good electrical characteristic by specifying relation between thickness and solidness of an intermediate layer. <P>SOLUTION: The optical information recording medium has at least the intermediate layer and a recording layer including dyes on the substrate. The intermediate layer meets the following condition (A). (Condition A): a 150 nm thick thin film is formed on the 380&plusmn;25 &mu;m thick Si substrate by using the same material as the intermediate layer. The maximum push-in depth when applying force of upto 0.5 mN at a constant speed for 20 seconds on the surface of the thin film by using an indenter made of a diamond square pyramid with a facing angle of 136&deg; is defined as D(nm).
