<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method in which an amorphous silicon photoreceptor and a development device with a development sleeve made of SUS steel are used in combination with a stress-resistant toner to solve problems such as uneven thin film formation, fogging due to low-potential development and adhesion of toner components to the amorphous silicon photoreceptor, and which ensures no image defect and allows long-term use. <P>SOLUTION: The development sleeve 12a has a ten-point average surface roughness Rz of 4.0-7.0 μm, a magnetic pole of the development sleeve 12a placed opposite to a thin layer regulating blade 12b has a magnetism (S2) of 750-1,100 gausses, a magnetism (Bmag) of the thin layer regulating blade 12b satisfies a relationship of 100≤S2-Bmag≤400, and the toner used is a magnetic toner in which a binder resin comprises a cycloolefin copolymer resin and which has a residual magnetization of 3.60-5.65 emu/g. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
