PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce size and cost, by reducing the number of part items of a fuel injector.
SOLUTION: This fuel injector has a plunger 110 for sucking and forcibly feeding fuel to a force feed chamber C by reciprocating motion, a passage member 140 for defining a supply passage 201a supplying the fuel to the force feed chamber C, a return passage returning a part or vapor of the supplied fuel to an original passage, a suction passage 142 communicating the force feed chamber C, the supply passage 201a and the force feed chamber C and a discharge passage 143 communicating the force feed chamber C and the return passage, a suction adjusting means adjusting the fuel flowing in the suction passage 142, a discharge adjusting means adjusting the fuel flowing in the discharge passage 143, and an injection nozzle 300 injecting the fuel delivered from the force feed chamber C. The suction adjusting means is composed of only a valve element 220 regulated to a predetermined stroke for allowing the inflow of the fuel to the force feed chamber C. Thus, the number of part items can be reduced; cost can be reduced; installation performance can be improved; and miniaturization can be attained.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
