PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable allowing an objective cable to be easily and surely found out from multiple cables installed in the form of multiple lines.

SOLUTION: In this cable, multiple display parts 5 each formed by longitudinally displaying characters, figures, marks and the like on the surface of an outermost coating sheath 2 are arranged at predetermined display intervals L1. Multiple identifying digits or identifying alphabetical letters 4 are longitudinally arranged at predetermined intervals L2on the surface of the outermost coating sheath 2. Identifying digits or identifying alphabetical letters 4 are arranged by being shifted at a predetermined angleθsmaller than 90°in the circumferential direction with respect to a display part line Z arranged on the outermost coating sheath 2 and connecting the multiple display parts 5 to one another.
