<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive air conditioner with small installation space, capable of removing efficiently odor components in the indoor air, in particular, the odor components deposited onto a curtain, a wall or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The air conditioner includes an air blowing means 10 and a heat exchanger 12 on the midway of an air blowing passage 9 for communicating a suction port 6 and a blowout port 7. Further, the air conditioner includes an electrostatic atomizer 18 (32) provided with a water reservoir part 19 (33), a conveying part 20 (34) for conveying the water from the water reservoir part 19 (33), and an impression-to-water electrode part 24a (36a) for applying a voltage to water in a route from the water reservoir part 19 (33) to a conveying-directional end of the conveying part 20 (34), and for applying a high voltage to the application-to-water electrode part 24a (36a) to conduct electrostatic atomization.
