PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a headlamp controller for a vehicle for properly illuminating the direction that a drive should be gazed on a traveling at the corner or the like. SOLUTION: This head lamp controller for the vehicle includes: a facing direction detector 12 for detecting the facing direction of the driver; a steering angle detector 17 for detecting the steering angle of the vehicle; a vehicle speed detector 23 for detecting the vehicle speed of the vehicle; an illumination axis determination unit 15 for deciding the illumination axis direction of the headlamp based on the steering angle and the vehicle speed; and a correction device 15 for correcting the illumination axis direction to the facing direction when an angle between the vehicle direction and the facing direction is larger than the angle between the vehicle direction and the illumination axis direction and when the angle between the illumination axis direction and the facing direction is smaller than the angle between the vehicle direction and the facing direction.
