PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet device which can prevent infiltration of sanitary sewage such as urine into a nozzle projecting opening formed in a casing, without employing a shielding structural member such as a shutter. SOLUTION: According to the structure of the toilet device, a toilet seat box 2 is set on an upper surface of a rear portion of a Western-style toilet bowl 1, as the casing, and the opening 5 is formed in a front end face of the toilet seat box 2, for advancing a nozzle 11 of a sanitary washing device 10 into a bowl of the Western-style toilet bowl 1. The toilet device has a spouting member 30 (a curtain nozzle 33) arranged along an upper edge of the opening 5, for forming a water curtain for the opening 5. When the Western-style toilet bowl 1 is used, the opening 5 is covered with the water curtain, and therefore infiltration of sanitary sewage into the opening 5 is prevented.
