<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To judge the range of front glass by using one camera and a measuring part of a simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: With a camera which looks down a place where an object moves, the place is periodically photographed. When a traveling vehicle is detected inside a photographed image, the feature line of the traveling vehicle vertical to the advancing direction of the traveling vehicle, which appears in the image of the traveling vehicle, is detected, the feature line is tracked on the image, and thus the height of the feature line is calculated.
