PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highlight-extracting device which determines and extracts segments, which include highlight scenes, from a plurality of segments which constitute sport-event content, and also provide a highlight-extracting method, a highlight-extracting program and a recording medium, to which the highlight-extracting program is recorded. SOLUTION: At first, a set of characteristics is extracted from audio signals. The set of characteristics includes music and music-added voice as voice classification and is classified according to the voice classification. Sets of characteristics adjacent to characteristics classified in the quite same manner are grouped. When a set of characteristics is classified either into music or into music-added voice, a segment corresponding to the voice classification is removed, as a non-highlight, by a filter.
