PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image output control apparatus for flexibly coping with diverse guaranteed contents requested by customers in creating a proof (certificate of color authentication) for guaranteeing printing in correct colors. SOLUTION: The image output control apparatus performs processing associated with user settings of a print position of a color chart CP, a layout of the color chart CP, and a color value of the color chart CP in applying color authentication to arbitrarily set images (objects) PCT1, PCT3, uses a colorimetric unit to apply colorimetry to the color chart CP printed according to a print condition on the basis of the user settings, and when a result of the colorimetry is normal, the image output control apparatus prints out the color chart CP, the objects (images for color authentication) PCT1, PCT3, and an authentication result (a colorimetry result and a quality discrimination result or the like) or the like on single paper successively.
