PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing device for a wheel avoiding the interference of a coupler ring with a seal member by separating an end surface of the coupler ring from an end surface of the seal member of a rolling bearing by a predetermined dimension. SOLUTION: The bearing device for the wheel comprises the rolling bearing 2 having an outer ring 21, an inner ring 24, a rolling element, and the seal member 26; an inner shaft 1 provided with a center hole 16 supporting a driving shaft 4 at center, and fitted with the inner ring of the rolling bearing 2 on an outer periphery to attach the rolling bearing 2; and the coupler ring 3 fixed to a shaft end of the inner shaft 1. The bearing device for the wheel also comprises a caulking portion 15 caulking the shaft end of the inner shaft 1 to fix the coupler ring 3 and the rolling bearing 2 in an axial direction of the inner ring 24, and an avoiding means avoiding the interference between the end surface of the coupler ring 3 and the end surface of the seal member 26 of the rolling bearing 2.
