A back-rest of vehicle rear-seat has an arm-rest which can be folded out from a recess of the back-rest into a horizontal position to create a though-loading aperture. The arm rest (6) can be transferred from a recessed position into a raised position and vice versa, and following folding through 180 deg. can be turned around its longitudinal axis, where the adjustment axle (18) is arranged in the vicinity of the rear face of the arm rest (6).
