<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to connect an electric component that operates at low voltage without use of a DC-DC converter, and to prevent a balance between battery voltages from being disrupted. <P>SOLUTION: A battery device for vehicles is so constructed that it includes: a first battery 2a connected to the high voltage side; a second battery 2b connected to the low voltage side; a comparing means 6 for comparing the voltages of the two batteries 2a, 2b; a voltage difference eliminating means 7 that, when the comparing means 6 determines that the voltage difference is equal to or higher than a first predetermined value between the first battery 2a and the second battery 2b, eliminates the voltage difference between the two batteries 2a, 2b; and a charging means 4 for charging the entire multiple batteries 2 connected in series. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
