PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a servicer to control the DNS server, IPv6 and IPv4 of which is to be accessed to obtain the IP address from the domain name of a content or license server by a content reproducing device, and to shorten the processing time of obtaining the IP address on the side of the content-reproducing device, as well.SOLUTION: The reproduction control information server 7 includes IPv4/IPv6 selection information, indicating which of an IPv4 DNS server 11 and an IPv6 DNS server 10 is to be accessed to obtain the IP address from the domain name for a VOD server 9a, or the like, in a reproduction control information file, and provides it for the content-reproducing device (terminal 1). The content reproducing device accesses the VOD server 9a, or the like, by reading the IPv4/IPv6 selection information from the received reproduction control information file, determining the DNS server, accessing the determined DNS server, acquiring the IP address and accessing the IP address. |
