PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a light emitting device capable of efficiently and inexpensively manufacturing a light emitting device, and the highly reliable light emitting device manufactured by this manufacturing method, and an electronic apparatus. SOLUTION: This manufacturing method manufactures a display device (light emitting device) 10 having a luminescent layer 51 emitting blue light, a luminescent layer 52 emitting red light, and a luminescent layer 53 emitting white light, and has a process to form a coat on one face side of a positive electrode 3 by supplying a material emitting blue light, by using a mask having an opening for forming the luminescent layer 51 and an opening for forming the luminescent layer 53, a process to obtain the respective luminescent layers 51, 52 and 53 on one face side of the positive electrode 3 by supplying a material emitting red light with the mask having the opening for forming the luminescent layer 52 and the opening for forming the luminescent layer 53 positioned so that a coat to be used as the luminescent layer 53 almost conforms to the opening for forming the luminescent layer 53, and a process to form a cathode 6 on the side opposite to the positive electrode 3 of each luminescent layer 51, 52 and 53.
