PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily secure support accuracy etc. of a lock mechanism and facilitate maintenance of the lock mechanism. SOLUTION: A transfer device coupled to a transmission is provided with a transfer case 3 coupled to a transmission case of the transmission, a first transmission shaft 5 rotatably supported by both ball bearings 39, 40 with respect to the transfer case 3 and interlocked and connected with an output shaft of the transmission, and a second transmission shaft 7 juxtaposed to the first transmission shaft 5 and interlocked with the first transmission shaft 5. The lock mechanism 8 capable of selectively inhibiting the rotation of the first transmission shaft 5 is provided between the first transmission shaft 5 and the transfer case 3.
