PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an operator to visually recognize information on obstacles present around a vehicle. SOLUTION: In an independent steering support display system, conditions around the vehicle are monitored by using a monitoring sensor detecting obstacles to movement of the vehicle. When an obstacle is detected by the monitoring sensor, a movement restriction region of the vehicle corresponding to a designated steering mode is identified based on a relative positional relationship between the vehicle and the detected obstacle. Moreover, the independent steering support display system identifies the assumed movement trajectory of the vehicle based on designated conditions in the steering mode, and displays an assist screen indicating the identified vehicle movement restriction region, the vehicle movement trajectory and a vehicle drawing. By updating the assist screen to support operation of the operator continuously for a movement period of the vehicle, support associated with vehicle operation can be performed with respect to the operator.
