<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device generating a high temperature without consuming excessive energy. <P>SOLUTION: The high temperature generator has an energy generating part 10 generating thermoacoustic energy when there is a temperature gradient, an energy transmitting part 30 transmitting the thermoacoustic energy generated by the energy generating part 10, and a temperature gradient generating part 20 generating a temperature gradient wherein a propagation side is a high temperature, and it becomes lower toward a propagation direction downstream side, when the thermoacoustic energy is propagated.
