LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device nearly free from luminance unevenness and capable of attaining cost reduction without using expensive lens sheet and polarizing sheet.

SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device is provided with a backlight device 1 wherein a plurality of fluorescent lamps are disposed on a bottom part side of a casing, a light transmission plate is disposed at an aperture part on a light emission surface side of the casing and a diffusion sheet is disposed on the light emission surface side of the light transmission plate and a liquid crystal panel 100 disposed on the light emission surface aperture part side of the backlight device and having ≥7% transmittance of light from the backlight device. The light transmission plate or/and the diffusion sheet of the backlight device making luminance distribution in the direction vertical to axes of the fluorescent lamps uniform are adopted.
