PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a damping cover device which achieves light weight and cost reduction as well as enhancing damping performance and heat shielding performance. SOLUTION: A damping cover device 1 which is arranged with a space from a vibration source producing vibration and heat and employed to suppress the radiation of vibration and heat from an exhaust manifold, is formed of an elastically deformable metallic thin plate material 4 worked in a cubic shape corresponding to a heat shielding region of the vibration source.
