PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to surely carry out coating of a cut-off agent without unevenness and easily respond to change if any of the number of wires, in a method of coating one on wires at manufacturing of a wire harness. SOLUTION: In the cut-off agent coating method for wires carrying out a parallel setting treatment of aligning a plurality of wires 12 so as to have one superposed on another, and a coating treatment of coating the cut-off agent 16 on a wire group 14 made by setting the wires 12 in parallel, the coating treatment is carried out by spraying the cut-off agent 16 on the wire group 14 while moving a pair of spray nozzles 53 arranged at positions pinching either side of the wire group 14 so as to spray the cut-off agent 16 from bottom to top.
