PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharging liquid capable of more stably discharging at least one of protein and peptide by an ink jet system, a liquid discharge method of a liquid containing at least one of protein and peptide using the discharging liquid and a discharge device. SOLUTION: The rationalization of the discharge of an aqueous solution containing at least one of protein and peptide due to the ink jet system is enhanced by adding benzalkonium chloride to the aqueous solution.
