<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten time required for developer to be supplied to an electrostatic latent image carrier by means of a developing roller by dispersing developer when the developer is supplied to the developing unit from a developer storage part. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus capable of forming an image with two-component developer, for example, a color printer 1 includes a photoreceptor drum 21, a developing device 22, a toner container 27, and a fan motor 29. The photoreceptor drum 21 is a member on the surface of which an electrostatic latent image is formed. The developing unit 22 supplies toner to the photoreceptor drum 21. A toner container 27 stores developer, which is supplied to the developing unit 22.
