PURPOSE: A system for controlling white balance of a plasma display panel is provided to reset addresses according to the state of the picture currently being displayed to automatically establish environments without requiring user's operation of a remote control. CONSTITUTION: A system for controlling white balance of a plasma display panel includes an image correction part(210) for changing input analog video data according to correction data, an A/D converter(220) for converting R, G, B signals output from the image correction part into digital signals, and a driver(230) for driving the plasma display panel to display video signals according to the R, G, B signals. The system further includes a memory(250) storing color coordinates and luminance values generated in the plasma display panel, an error detector(260) for comparing the color coordinates and luminance values with reference values of the memory to obtain errors, and a D/A converter(270) for converting an error signal output from the error detector into an analog signal and outputting the analog signal as the correction data.
