<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna attaching device of a printer for RFID paper which enables an RFID aerial 15 to be arranged on the platen roller 17 side, while maintaining a mechanical strength of a platen holder 31 for the RFID antenna 15 to be attached. <P>SOLUTION: This device is intended for forming an antenna housing groove part 32 toward the transfer path 3 side of the platen holder 31 and arranging the RFID aerial 15 inside the antenna housing groove part 32. That is, the platen holder 31 for attaching the platen roller 17 to a printing part 6 and the RFID aerial 15 to a data read/write part 5. The platen holder 31 is constituted of a metallic material with a specified thickness and the antenna housing groove part 32 is formed opposite to the transfer path 3 on the surface of the platen holder 31.
