CATALYST FOR GENERATION OF HYDROGEN, MANUFACTURING METHOD AND HYDROGEN GENERATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst for generation of hydrogen enabling manufacture of hydrogen with high efficiency and stable supply of hydrogen, and to provide a method of manufacturing the catalyst and a hydrogen generator using the catalyst.

SOLUTION: The catalyst for generation of hydrogen consists of a substrate and a catalyst film containing Cu and Zn as catalyst ingredients and supported on the surface of the substrate. The catalyst film consists of porous particles of an average particle size of 10-500 μm containing Cu and Zn as catalyst ingredients and a matrix having the dispersed porous particles and containing Cu, Zn and aluminum oxide.
