PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a purge device capable of assuring a sufficient purge amount even in supercharging by a supercharger without using a pump or the like in an internal combustion engine with the supercharger. SOLUTION: A first purge valve 18 is provided in a first purge line connecting a canister 13 and an intake pipe 2 on a downstream side of the supercharger 4, and a second purge valve is provided in a second purge line 19 connecting the canister 13 and the intake pipe 2 on an upstream side of the supercharger 4. When the supercharger 4 is operated to supercharge intake air, the first and second purge valves 18, 20 are opened. With this arrangement, a pressure difference between negative pressure and positive pressure on the upstream side and the downstream side of the supercharger 4 generates an air current flowing from the downstream side of the supercharger 4 to the upstream side of the supercharger 4 through the canister 13. Since the air current passes through the canister 13, a sufficient purge amount can be assured even in supercharging. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
