PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable valve gear of an internal combustion engine for easily installing a pusher for pressing down an intake cam-follower rocker for a low speed, on a shaft fixing member, while restraining generation of deflection. SOLUTION: This variable valve gear is constituted so that the pusher 60a for pressing down the intake cam-follower rocker 60 separated from an intake valve driving rocker 35 in a high rotation area of the internal combustion engine, is arranged nearer to a fixing point of the shaft fixing member 130b than a pusher 80a for pressing down an exhaust cam-follower rocker 80 arranged together with the pusher 60a. Thus, the pusher 60a of applying pressing-down force to the intake cam-follower rocker 60 by a higher load than the other pusher 80a, is supported at a point near to the fixing point of the shaft fixing member 130b, and thereby, the shaft fixing member 130b is hardly deflected.
