The invention relates to the metallurgy and concerns a method and machine of horizontal continuous casting of billets. For decreasing the consumption of gas-air mixture through a slot between billet and wall of the housing of receiver one additional receiver is additionally installed into which the air is supplied under pressure. For effective removal of gas from the crystallizer its axis is inclined at an angle to the horizon within the range from 3.2 to 15.0 deg.
