A revetment block and a constructing method thereof are provided to preclude the revetment block from being washed away by fixing the revetment block with upper and lower wing members instead of support rods. A revetment block(1) comprises a body(20), and upper and lower wing members(30,10). The body is installed along a riverside. The upper wing members are extended to one side of the body and fixed to the ground to fix the body. The lower wing members are extended to the other side of the body and fixed to the ground to fix the body. The body includes vegetational holes(21) in which vegetational plants(40) grow. The upper wing members are in the higher position than the lower wing members. The upper and lower wing members are formed with fixing holes(11) through which fixing units pass. |
