A method for image blurring reduction is provided to enable a user to photograph an image through the image blurring reduction if it is determined that the motion of a camera is more than a predetermined value by detecting the motion of the camera even when hands of a user are shaken during the capture of the image with the digital camera so that the user is able to photograph a stabilized image clearer without a tripod. A method for image blurring reduction comprises the following steps of: detecting the motion of a camera(126); capturing the image of an object with first shutter speed determined by the camera if the motion of the camera is not detected(128); capturing the image of the object with second shutter speed faster than the first shutter speed determined by the camera if the motion of the camera is detected(134); and storing image data corresponding to the captured image in a storage medium(132,138).
