<p>A floor standing air conditioner capable of easily realizing airflow in the frontal direction. A floor standing air conditioner (1) has a casing (4), a first vertical flap (51), and a second vertical flap (71). In the casing (4), there are provided a first blowing opening (12) and a second blowing opening (13) that are arranged in the lateral direction (D1) in a front view and from which conditioned air is blown out. The first vertical flap (51) has a first plate section (52) for guiding, when the plate section is in an open state, air that is blown out from the first blowing opening (12), and the first vertical flap (51) can open and close the first blowing opening (12). The second vertical flap (71) has a second plate section (72) for guiding, when the plate section is in an open state, air that is blown out from the second blowing opening (13), and the second vertical flap (71) can open and close the second blowing opening (13). Further, the first plate section (52) is, when it is substantially in parallel to the direction orthogonal to the front of the air conditioner, positioned more outward than the center of the first blowing opening (12). The second plate section (72) is, when it is substantially in parallel to the direction orthogonal to the front of the air conditioner, positioned more outward than the center of the second blowing opening (13).</p> |
