<p>This invention pertains to the use of a liquid composition suitable for producing a "dry" lubricant film defined as a lubricant film which remains on the surface onto which it is applied as a liquid, and which consequently does not flow off, or is easily removable from, said surface, the liquid composition comprising a) at most 95 wt.% of an aqueous phase and b) polyhydric alcohol selected from the group consisting glycerine, propylene glycol, and ethylene glycol, for lubricating a conveyor belt surface used for the transport of glass, plastic or cardboard containers or metal cans.</p> |
