<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering valve with a simple structure capable of rapidly discharging air stored in an oil passage from a steering pump to the steering valve. <P>SOLUTION: A directional selector valve 115 of a steering valve 112 comprises first and second ports 117a, 117b communicated with a rod 108a side and a cylinder side of a steering cylinder 108, respectively, a third port 117c communicated with the discharge side of a steering pump 111, a fourth port 117d communicated with a tank 114 to store working fluid, and a steering spool 120 movable in the axial direction.
