<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for customizing the correspondence relation between acquired items of user information to be acquired from an information management server and management items to be managed by an image forming apparatus, with respect to the image forming apparatus for acquiring the user information from the information management server such as an LDAP server and managing the acquired information. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus is provided with an information acquiring means for acquiring the user information from the information management server for managing the user information, and an information management means for managing the user information acquired by the information acquiring means. The apparatus is also provided with a customizing means for customizing the correspondence relation between the acquired items and the management items on the basis of an image acquired from a form filled in with the correspondence relation between the acquired items of the user information to be acquired by the information acquiring means and the management items of the user information to be managed by the information management means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
