AUTOMATIC STEREOSCOPIC SYSTEM

The proposed automatic stereoscopic system can be used in devices for three-dimensional simulation and visual representation of static and dynamic physical processes. The system contains a plate with anaglyphic elements of an image and a dismountable screen installed in front of the plate. The screen contains two raster patterns arranged on the sides of the common focal plane. Each raster pattern is designed as a system consisting of lens elements or other equivalent optical elements with anaglyphic filters, which are arranged on the surface of the screen without gaps between the elements. Oneanaglyphic filter corresponds to each pair of the lens elements. The characteristic feature of the proposed system is that the stereoscopic image is formed by the raster patterns with anaglyphic filtration, so there is no need to arrange the elements of the raster pattern precisely relative to the image elements on the surface of the plate. The system is distinctive by its high accuracy in transforming a two-dimensional image into the corresponding three-dimensional image.
