A superconducting fault current limiting system using a re-closing scheme is provided to be applied to a system which requires the re-closing scheme by using a superconducting fault current limiter. A first superconducting fault current limiter(21) is quenched in case of a short in a system, and limits a short current. A first sub switch(25) is serially connected with the first superconducting fault current limiter(21), electrically connects the first superconducting fault current limiter(21) to the system in a close position, and separates the first superconducting fault current limiter(21) in an open position. A second superconducting fault current limiter(22) is parallel connected to the first superconducting fault current limiter(21), and is quenched in case that the short continues after re-inputting a main circuit breaker(27) which is connected to the system, and limits the short current. A second sub switch(26) is serially connected with the second superconducting fault current limiter(22), electrically connects the second superconducting fault current limiter(22) to the system in the close position, and separates the second superconducting fault current limiter(22) from the system in the open position. A first monitoring tripper(23) is connected to the first superconducting fault current limiter(21), detects a voltage signal which is generated in case of changing the resistance of the first superconducting fault current limiter(21), and simultaneously outputs, in case of a short, an opening order switching signal to the first sub switch(25), and a short order switching signal to the second sub switch(26). A second monitoring tripper(24) is connected to the second superconducting fault current limiter(22), detects the voltage change according to the change of resistance of the second superconducting fault current limiter(22), and simultaneously outputs the short order switching signal to the first sub switch(25), and the opening order switching signal to the second sub switch(26). The main circuit breaker(27) is serially connected to the system, and performs a function of current breaking and re-closing.
