A humidifier is provided to realize antibacterial and deodorizing effect without creating materials harmful to the human body by generating water vapor using a carbon molding body or a ceramic body as a medium. A humidifier comprises a water absorbent(20), a lower body(10), and a cover(30). The water absorbent serves as a medium to absorb and vaporize water. The lower body is provided with a water supply unit(11) supplying water to the water absorbent, and a blower unit(12) supplying air for volatilization of water in the water absorbent. The cover is combined to the lower body and has a plurality of vaporization holes(31) for discharging water vapor generated from the water absorbent to the indoor space.
