A location system comprises first device comprising a radio receiver and sounder attached to a personal item which may be lost or misplaced, the device may be a key fob 11 attached to keys 12 or a purse or wallet (fig 2). The sounder may be triggered to indicate it's presence when a coded ID signal is received from a second device having a transmitter 14 and carried by the item's owner. The transmitter may comprise a mobile telephone (fig 2). The first device may also have GPS means to determine it geographical location and transmitter means able to send it's location to the owner. The first device may have batteries recharged by random motion of the attached item when carrier by the device's owner. |
