An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device and a driving method thereof are provided to display normal and inversing screens by using only one source start pulse and one gate start pulse. An LCD device includes a liquid crystal panel(210), data and gate drivers(220a,220d,240a,240b), and a timing controller(252). The liquid crystal panel includes pixel cells on regions, which are defined by plural gate and data lines. The data driver supplies a data signal to the data lines. The gate driver supplies a gate signal to the gate lines. The timing controller including a memory for storing data of a frame controls the data and gate drivers, varies output sequence of data stored in the memory in order to display normal or inversion screens on the liquid panel, and supplies the varied output sequence to the data driver.
