STRUCTURE FOR PRECAST PIER AND CONSTRUCTION METHOD THEREOF

A precast pier structure is provided to shorten a period of construction and to secure economical efficiency and structural stability by connecting precast concrete segments using a pocket and a connecting structure. A precast structure is formed by connecting pre-manufactured precast concrete segments(30) on a pier foundation vertically and connecting a pier head to the uppermost segment. Each segment comprises a pocket(41) formed on the top of a concrete body(31) and provided with a reinforcement member(43) installed to an internal wall of a space of the concrete body to diminish shear and flexure added on a connection of the segments and many shear keys(47) installed on two sides of the reinforcement member to increase the connecting efficiency of the reinforcement member and grouting concrete(61) filled in the space of the concrete body, and a single connecting structure(51) buried under the bottom of the concrete body and composed of a steel pipe(53) exposed to the outside and provided with many holes(55) to secure the connecting efficiency of the grouting concrete and the steel pipe and many shear keys(57) installed on the inside and outside of the steel pipe to increase the connecting efficiency of the grouting concrete and the steel pipe.
