A digital information storage system, a digital information security system, and a method for storing and providing digital information are provided to enhance security and use convenience without any security server and store the digital information after encrypting it based on hardware information of a shared storage. A shared storage(200) has the unique hardware information. A user terminal(100) is linked with the shared storage through a communication network, and stores the digital information to the shared storage after encrypting the digital information based on the hardware information of the shared storage. When the stored digital information is loaded, the user terminal decrypts the encrypted digital information by using the hardware information. The user terminal encrypts the digital information by including ACL(Access Control Logic) information for the digital information. The user terminal encrypts the digital information by generating a random key, generates an encryption header including the ACL information and the random key, and encrypts the generated encryption header with the hardware information when the digital information is encrypted.
